Who are we?

CONSELCOL is a non-profit organization founded in 2021 in Manizales, Colombia, by researchers interested in the conservation of ecosystems and endangered natural species in Colombia. Its objective is to promote the conservation of natural and cultural resources in the Neotropics through research, conservation strategies and awareness campaigns.

Our mission is to promote the study, conservation, restoration, monitoring and awareness of the natural resources of the Neotropics, carrying out research processes that allow us to understand and conserve these natural resources along with cultural resources.

• Vision

Our vision is to create a future in which the Neotropics' natural resources and cultural heritage are valued, understood and protected for future generations. We want to be a driving force in conservation , research and sustainable development, through rigorous research and effective conservation processes. Together, we will work towards a future in which communities can sustainably thrive through the preservation of their natural resources.

Develop research processes that allow us to understand and conserve the natural resources of the Neotropics.
Generate processes for the conservation of natural resources and cultural heritage that strengthen the sustainable development of communities and their territories.
